Hello, my name is Amelia Carter.

I was born in Denmark and spent 18 years there before moving to Toronto, Canada. Growing up, I was always encouraged to be creative and explore new things.

From a young age, I fell in love with art and design. I spent hours drawing, painting, and making DIY projects. At the same time, I was also great at problem-solving and loved technology. So, I decided to study Graphic Design and Digital Media at university.

From Computer Science to Creative Living

After graduation, I got a job at a big marketing agency. But after a few months, I realized something—the 9-5 office life wasn’t for me. Sitting at a desk all day, working on projects that didn’t excite me, felt draining. I knew I needed freedom, creativity, and joy in my daily life.

That’s when I started Craftsyhack.com—a space where I could share art, DIY projects, home decor ideas, and design tips. A year later, it became my full-time passion!

Today, I get to create, design, and inspire others every day. I take photos, decorate spaces, experiment with new crafts, and even teach others how to bring more creativity into their lives.
